The electronic cigarette vapor has a variety of ingredients, some of that may irritate the lungs and cause coughing and wheezing, while some are in fact toxic to the lungs. One of the more common herbs used in vaporizers is gold. Gold is a highly toxic element, which is also used in medications to take care of certain types of cancer. There were studies that show gold increases the risk of premature death in smokers, so it would be wise to avoid using any products that contain gold.
